More Belltown Violence

PBR is tired of the violence in Belltown.

On Sunday we drew chalk peace signs and wrote "stop the violence" on the corners of Fifth & Wall where the latest Belltown shooting took place.

We drew them in support of the residents on the block.
We drew them to show that we noticed.
We drew them to show that we care.
We drew them to ask people to stop the violence.

Our chalk art made it on TV...

Peace, Belltown. Peace.

PBR is still at it.

We haven't updated our blog in a while, but People's Belltown Republic is still at it. If you're interested in joining us, or speaking with us, it's simple. Just come down and clean with us.

We meet every Sunday at 5PM in front of the Humphrey Apartments on 2nd and Blanchard. We have never missed a Sunday, so we promise we'll be there. With the recent upsurge in violence, our work is more important than ever.

We're planning on heading to the Belltown Citizen on Patrol safety forum tonight at the Labor Temple (7pm). Hope to see you there!
